118th Ohio Regimen  This is another story about another member in the 118th regimen whose pension records seem to mirror that of Enos Jones.

Claim for Invalid Pension of Enos M. Jones Enos Jones had to fight the government for his Civil War Pension. The following are affidavits from friends and towns people who knew him and were able to testify on his behalf.

Enos Jones Mines for Oil in 1864  During early mining excursions Enos joined up with Rufas Dawes a famous oil entrepreneur to mine for oil in Hancock County Ohio.

118th Regiment Infantry records, Enos M. Jones This is regimental information on the 118th infantry, which will advise the battles this infantry was involved in.

Descendants of Enos M. Jones This is the family tree of Enos M. Jones and Sydney Williamson Jones of Ohio.
