These are poems dedicated to my father William McCready.

"Dad We Will Miss You"

Your laughter filled our hearts and souls and we will remember it till we grow old.

We will never forget what you sang slicking back your hair, Dad you were right about what you sang in the mirror..

That Sunday jig in the house pants that made us all laugh and cringe will keep reminding us of your sweet little grin.

Most certainly we wont forget those little scolds and the line of your jaw when your teeth were clenched that made us say UH OH!!!

The stories you told of your childhood made us hang on every word and they wont be forgotten we will pass them along to our kids so they may find laughter in those mischievous things that you did.

When that siren blows we will always recall you running to the rescue through the back yard getting there quicker then them all. .

We wont forget the embarrassment of your humor at any store when you acted as a mannequin embarrassing us all.

We wont forget how long it took to reach our destination in the car when every tool along the way meant Dad was stopping the car.

We will never forget how much we love you or everything you are because within us you have placed the value of humor, strength and pride and we will carry your traits till the day we die.

We’ll meet you in heaven FWEETIE!!

Love your daughters,

Chris, Cindy, Theresa & Melissa

Grandpa,

Great man who brought a smile to everybody

Respectful to every one that he knew.

Always made a joke out of what he heard

Never unhappy or without a smile

Delighted to be around people.

People loved him

Always will be remembered.

Love,

William Paul Tandler

Grandpa your the greatest and I know you had to leave,

but I really wanted to say that you mean so much to me.

You always had a smile on your face and always were laughing,

when you smiled you lit up the room

and made us all feel happy.

You were the cutest Grandpa and you really did know it,

you walked down the hall looking like you knew it all

and it sure was true, we all knew it. You were a cutie.

I sure do love you and I hope you know it.

You will always be in my heart and I will never ever forget you.

Love Always,

Crystal Ann Chadwell

Grandpa, Your two foot sumo wrestler will meet you in heaven.

And Baaah!!! (A kiss for you)

Love,

Jordan Archibald (1 Yr. Old)

Grandpa

As we all know Bill "My Grandpa" has now passed away due to cancer,

In my opinion my Grandpa was the sweetest nicest man you could have ever met, didn't matter if it were a stranger or just Mr. Or Mrs. Szymanski coming over to ask for a hand my Grandpa wouldn't have to think twice about helping them. I’ll always remember the one thing that made me love my Grandpa as much as I did and do and that was his smile, every time I saw him he had a giant smile and all you would see was the whites of his teeth and the happiness in his eyes even through the pain he was a master of disguise. I am still left bewildered by my Grandpas sudden sickness and now death. A man who was never sick and never had a cavity suddenly came down with cancer. If it were not for my Grandma he would have never gotten as far as he did before his death. She was everything she could be to him and I know she did a wonderful job and I know my Grandpa greatly appreciated it all. She was a wonderful wife and she is a wonderful Grandma to me.

Grandpa Grandma

I love you!!!

Love,

Amanda Lynn Connors

Grandpa

I’m going to miss you Grandpa

and I love you very much and you were a nice Grandpa to me.

Love,

Cheyenne Aubry

Grandpa

Grandpa I liked that you built a lot of cool cars

and took me to the car show and you loved me

and you were a nice Grandpa.

Love,

Dakota Aubry

Grandfather,

Caring, Enjoyable, Humorous

Father of Chris, Cindy, Theresa and Missy

Lover of work, old cars and family

Who finds happiness with family

and believes that work is important,

who needs Grandma, Grand kids, old cars and family,

who is concerned about loosing the love of his life

through death loosing the fight against cancer.

He gives love support and loyalty to family.

He hopes for a cure of cancer

and no tears from family.

Resident of Michigan and car shows everywhere.

Grandpa I love you Always everyday I will think of you.

From Your Granddaughter

Samantha Postelwait

Grandpa,

Thank you for the car shows, and thanks for the manners.

When you made me look both ways across the street 50 times

after I ran through it without looking,

I knew it was because you cared for me.

I learned Grandpa.

You have taught me manners,

taken me to the barber and let me drive the tractor.

I will always remember when you said I was big enough

to drive the parade car, boy did you make my day.

I love you dearly Grandpa in every way.

Love Always,

Justin Tandler

Grandpa

One of the things I love most about my Grandpa was his smile,

I can recall all the smiles and all the glimmers in his eyes.

I remember asking him millions of questions and

him having an answer for every one.

I loved getting home from school when I lived with him because

I would run to his garage and ask him if

he thought the grass was long enough

for me to cut it and he would either tell me yes or no.

And if I could he would give me the keys

and tell me not to go above 4 (Slow).

Grandpa was a great person and will be remembered

by others as well as me.

He was a fighter and a person

that everyone should have loved.

Love,

Russell Tandler
