Mrs. Williamson, aged 75 years died at the residence of George Plotner, in Marion Township on Thursday and was interred in Bishop's cemetery, eight miles southwest of this city. Mrs. Williamson was the mother of John Williamson, of this township.

The 1860 Jackson Township census show Enos Jones age 30 was a farmer and had realistate worth 1000.00 and personal property worth 300.00. Ten years later his value increased with the 1870 census where his property was worth 3000.00 and his personal property worth 500.00

14 Leases were filed with the county recorder. They stated the purpose to be "mining and excavation for petroleum, coal rock or carbon oil or other valuable mineral or volatile substance." Other landowners who leased property included Enos M. Jones and Levi Williamson.

Notes for EDWARD J. ANDRA:

Retired Metal Polisher and inspector from Hilfinger Corp. for 7 years. He was a member of local 2, metal polishers, buffers, planters and helpers. Ada and Edward met at a cigar factory where they both worked. Services for Edward were held after his death at Herman Birkenkamp & Son Mortuary.

Old postcards found with Mary Andra indicate that Edward used to travel around playing baseball. I am not sure if he was in a league or played with a school.

Marys first husband Leroy Betts died very young. Marys second husband Edwin king took her to Texas when she was pregnant and once their daughter Sharon was born he left them. Mary found her own way home and filed for Divorce, the divorce from Edwin King became final on 12/7/1953.
