Sadie died this year 2001 --- believe March but don't have the date at hand

OBITUARY

William Alexander MacIntosh, 86 Millville died at home Thursday October  4.

Born in Millville he was the son of the late John and Emma {Stansbury}  MacIntosh.

Retired for eighteen years he previously employed as a pipe fitter and  welder at many

construction sites throughout Cape Breton. He was employed  as an auto mechanic and

a sheet metal worker at Marine Railway, North  Sydney.

He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Bras d'Or.

Mr. MacIntosh is survived by his wife, the former Sadie McCready; seven daughters:

Mary -- Mrs. Carl Alderson; Florence -- Mrs. Chesley Bugden;  Yvonne -- Mrs. Don Cantwell; Mississauga, Ontario;  Frances -- Mrs. Murray  Cantwell of Bras d'Or;  Helen -- Mrs. Melvin Boutilier of Little Pond;  Anna --- Mrs. Donald McInnis of Whycocomagh; and Marguerite -- Mrs. Roland  Leyte of Millville; five sons: Bill, Sydney Mines; Jack, Mississauga;  Norman, Germany; David, Millville and Donald at home; one brother George,  Millville;

two sisters, Sister Henry, North Sydney and Irene -- Mrs.  Bernard McCready, Millville;

35 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by an infant son, Ernest; three brothers Norman, Jack  and Daniel and

four sisters, Christena, Theresa, Annie and Sister Austin.

The body will rest at G. R. Francis and Son Funeral Home, Sydney Mines today at 2 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held Sunday 2:30 p.m. at St. Joseph  Church, Bras d'Or with Father Joseph Gillis officiating. Burial will be  in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the  Lung Association or the N.S.Heart Foundation.
